Website for a restaurant in Talavera de la Reina

Built with Astro, Tailwind and React. The website used to be hosted on wordpress and wasn't being maintained often.

I rebuilt it with Astro, hosted it in my server and managed the whole registar change and relaunch.

One of the biggest challenges was fixing all the old links that were still being indexed after years of not being used, and a poor UX experience.

The new website is now live and the old one is no longer being used.

SEO has improved withing the first few months.

I was given creative freedom so I played a bit with animations

I created a gallery for the hero with pictures of the couple, and a 3D invitation that opens when tapped or clicked, only with CSS.

There's a section to confirm attendance and declare allergies.

There's an admin panel for the couple to manage guests, groups, allergies, etc.

I also started testing with playwright to make sure the RSVP form and the admin panel were working as expected.

I designed the whole website on Figma first, and created a simple design system before starting to code.

They also needed a section for RSVP, which I connected to Firebase. I also built an admin panel for them to be able to see RSVPed guests, add new invitations, create gruoups, see alergies for guests, etc.

This projects helped me strengthened my knowledge of middleware, Firebase and auth.

Full web app written in React and NextJS.

It’s a social network where users can create profiles, add friends, create gift lists, add gifts to friends, create groups and events.

For the database, I used Supabase. It was my first time using a Middleware to manage authed users and restricted sections.

It was also the first time I had to manage a big database with many different tables (friends, groups, events).

Website + blog for a local non-profit helping stray cats. It was built with React and Gatsby and connected to Conteful to cater the blog and some sections of the web.

I recently revamped the whole website, added Tailwind, a middleware and new features.

I, of course, had to include this portfolio here. It's made with React and NextJS and I try to make it a bit better every now and then. Last feature I added was an option to change between EN & ES.
